The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking a full-time teaching track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. The primary responsibility of the chosen candidate is course instruction and development that supports the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering program. It is also expected that the candidate will be involved in service activities related to engineering education. This position supports the teaching mission of the department, fills teaching gaps and contributes to departmental and university service.
● Lead and teach engineering courses that satisfy the department’s teaching mission.
● Contribute expertise in engineering education
● Advise students on their career paths.
● Be willing to contribute and lead departmental and university committees.
● Cultivate a safe, respectful environment for student achievement.
● Assist with other projects, administrative duties, and initiatives as assigned.
Education
Minimal Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering or a related fields.
Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in chemical engineering with teaching experience.
Experience
Minimal Qualifications: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience in chemical engineering.
Preferred Qualification: Experience with teaching or assisting teaching a chemical engineering course.
